Hua Hin is a stop we've come back to. We played open play and graded play at T Rex in both 2025 and 2026, and in January 2026 we played the Thailand Open there. We weren't interested in simply finding courts on a map — we wanted to know where a travelling player can actually get good games, and at what level.

T Rex has 8 courts and was the venue for the Thailand Open in January 2026. It runs both open play and graded play, so you can choose sessions matched to your level rather than taking pot luck. The games here are competitive and well matched.
Sign-up is through the Stack Team app. You'll need a code to join, which you can get from the T Rex Facebook group. Sessions are 150 THB (about $5) — among the best value on our route, alongside Da Nang.
Our take: strong, well-graded games at a very low price. The courts themselves are the weak point — they have a badminton surface rather than a dedicated pickleball surface.

Would we go back? Yes — we already have. The games are competitive, graded play makes it easy to find the right level, and at 150 THB a session it's hard to beat on value. The badminton-surface courts are what hold the score back. Get your Stack Team code from the Facebook group before you arrive and joining is straightforward.
A sports complex in Hua Hin with pickleball on site. We didn't play here ourselves, so check current sessions and booking before you go.
Indoor, air-conditioned courts on the third floor of the Blúport shopping mall. We didn't play here, but it's the obvious option if you want to get out of the heat.
A tennis and pickleball facility in Tab Tai, south of the town centre, which opened in March 2026 with a mix of covered and outdoor courts. We didn't play here, but it's worth checking if you're staying on that side of Hua Hin.
T Rex sessions are booked through the Stack Team app, and you need a code to join. Grab it from the T Rex Facebook group before you try to sign up.
Alongside open play, T Rex runs graded sessions — the quickest way for a visitor to get into well-matched games.
T Rex hosted the Thailand Open in January 2026. If you're visiting around tournament time, it's worth seeing whether you can enter.
At 150 THB (about $5) a session, you can play every day without thinking about cost.
Hua Hin earns its place on our route on the strength of the games, not the courts. T Rex delivers competitive open play and graded play at 150 THB a session, and hosted the Thailand Open in January 2026. The badminton-surface courts are the one real drawback. If you're planning a wider trip through Asia, our Da Nang and Goa guides are good stops to compare against.
